Hemicuda Rally: 105 km SS with a prologue at dusk
The 22nd edition of the Hemicuda Rally gets underway on Saturday, October 14th with a prologue special stage of just under 10 kilometres in Middelkerke. From 6pm onwards, the cars will start in reverse number order, on the narrow dark Polder roads of the coastal town. Whoever sets the fastest time will start first on Sunday.
On Sunday October 15th, three loops of three SS will be run, with unchanged tests in Kortemark, Houthulst and Koekelare. The Rally HQ remains at the familiar site of Bouwmaterialen Willaert in Koekelare.
Organised by Autostal Hemicuda and Autostal Atlantic, the Hemicuda Rally qualifies for the Regional VAS Rally Championship (vas.be) and for the Flanders International Rally Challenge (firc.be), which traditionally brings a lot of foreign teams to Koekelare. The Event is open to both modern as well as Historic cars.
Entries open on August 21th, with a maximum of 150 cars admitted.
